Sharon Osbourne has moved her social media followers with an emotional message to her late husband. Today would have been the Black Sabbath legend's 77th birthday.

Ozzy’s shock death came just a couple of weeks after he had played a triumphant final gig sat on a throne in Birmingham alongside his bandmates at Villa Park.

Taking to Instagram , Sharon posted: "My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side."

Fans immediately sent in messages of support to the widow, telling Sharon: "We love you Sharon you’re making him proud."
