Following a sold-out theatrical premiere and successful screenings across the islands, the 100% locally made Hawaii surf horror comedy “Plankenstein: A Killer Surf Movie!” will screen at the Palace Theater in Hilo at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Director/writer Diq Diamond will be present for a Q&A following the film.
The film launched with a sold-out red carpet world premiere at Kailua Cinemas on Oahu on Nov. 8, followed by a successful limited weeklong run.
The Big Island tour began with well-attended screenings at Honoka‘a People’s Theater on Nov. 14 and the Aloha Theater on Nov. 15.
