SOUTHSIDE, W.Va. —

Dramatic video shows the moment emergency crews successfully rescued a driver from a tractor-trailer dangling off a West Virginia bridge on Tuesday.

The driver lost control of his vehicle when slick road conditions sent the cab of the vehicle skidding over an embankment on Highway 35, according to Matt Gregg with Mason County Emergency Management.

Emergency teams had to call a technical road rescue team to assist them with the rescue, Gregg said.

Vickie Flora, who captured the video, described the situation as "tense."
