The state Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal by an insurance company regarding policy limits in the West Virginia State Police hidden camera cases.
In a Nov. 21 order, the Justices granted a motion to dismiss filed after a September ruling by Kanawha Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Ballard saying the insurance limit in the cases was $1 million per plaintiff, instead of $1 million total as the defendants argued. Kanawha Valley
