ANN ARBOR – Michigan’s football program is set to welcome a new wave of Wolverines on Wednesday.

Early signing day is here as most high school recruits across the country make their verbal commitments official and put pen to paper.

The Wolverines entered the day with the 11th-ranked class in the country with 28 pledges in the 2026 cycle. They aren’t expected to make any more splashes , but a successful signing day for Sherrone Moore’s program would entail keeping all its committed prospects in the fold. The focus will be on Irmo (S.C.) Dutch Fork four-star edge Julian Walker, the No. 96 overall prospect in the country, per the 247Sports Composite.
