For anyone with a seasonal wardrobe rotation, there’s a risk that dressing for certain times of year can become a bit clichéd: think florals for spring (groundbreaking), jewel-tones for autumn, Fair Isle knits for winter and, of course, sequins for New Year’s Eve. While there is nothing wrong with leaning into the classics – they’ve earned their place in the fashion hall of fame for a reason – for those of us who like to keep things interesting, it can be surprisingly hard to go off the beaten track and find something that feels definitively fresh.
