EDF is paying £15 to customers with driveways - if they are Smart Charging customers - in a big change. EDF has opened Smart Charging to myenergi zappi and Hypervolt EV charger owners , giving them extra off-peak charging for their home and car.
Customers on GoElectric and using Smart Charging can save up to £555 a year. Until 19 December, Smart Charging customers get an extra £10 credit, on top of their usual £5 monthly reward.
EV drivers with myenergyi zappi or Hypervolt chargers are now able to access EDF’s Smart Charging , a bolt-on to its market-leading EV tariffs, giving them access to more off-peak electricity rates, by letting EDF automatically charge their car when electricity is cheapest and more efficient.
