A new rumor suggests that Samsung could solve at least one of the biggest complaints around the Z Fold series with the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

There's a lot to love about Samsung's foldable phones, but the battery isn't one of them. However, in a recent post on X, leaker @Kro_roe claims that Samsung could both increase the Galaxy Z Fold 8's battery capacity and up its wired charging speed to 45W, up from the current 25W limit.

The post doesn't state what the increase in battery size could be. However, prior reports indicate that Samsung could push it as high as 5,000 mAh, a 600 mAh increase over the 4,400 mAh Samsung Z Fold 7. Admittedly, it's still not as high as the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold's 5,015 mAh battery. Foldables from Chinese phone makers (which unfortunately aren't sold in the U.S.)
