A family disturbance and a shots-fired call at 10:10 a.m. to the Canyon County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday morning led to deputies finding a dead male in the unincorporated Bowmont area south of Nampa, a CCSO news release states.
The deceased victim was found inside of a residence in the 7300 block of Main Street, according to the news release. It is not yet known if the deceased victim is an adult or minor.
The deputies detained the alleged shooter at the scene, according to the release. Another "individual" who was inside the residence was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release.
According to CCSO, the alleged shooter is "cooperating with investigators."
