All 28 categories will be unveiled on Dec. 8, 2025 starting at 8:15 a.m. ET/5:15 a.m. PT on CBSNews.com, with 11 categories revealed at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT on CBS Mornings. Viewers can also stream the announcement live on the CBS News YouTube and TikTok channels.

Nikki Glaser returns as host of the Golden Globes ceremony, which will air Jan. 11, 2026 live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. The 28 award categories include one new one: Best Podcast. Each category will feature six nominees, with the exception of Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, which will include eight.
