Temperatures have been running colder than normal for this time of year in Maryland. A cold and occasionally unsettled weather pattern continues through the end of the week. Our next chance of wintry weather arrives early Friday.
The WJZ First Alert Weather Team has upgraded Friday to a WJZ First Alert Weather Day for snow Friday late morning through early Friday evening. Due to the cold temperatures, any untreated surfaces could be slippery.
Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 4 a.m. Friday. Southern Baltimore County, Baltimore City included. Snowfall totals from a coating to up around an inch are expected in the advisory area. @wjz pic.twitter.com/jXwNfnGwp4 — Cutter Martin (@CutterMartin) December 4, 2025
