We’ve made it to December, which means it’s time to look back at the biggest pop culture trends and moments of 2025. Between Spotify’s annual Wrapped data being released on Dec. 3 and new YouTube data that shares the top songs of the year, it’s a great week to be a music fan.

YouTube’s list of the top 10 songs of 2025 gives a glimpse into the biggest hits that won over Canadians this year. Unsurprisingly, Netflix’s viral animated musical KPop Demon Hunters reigned supreme, with several songs from the movie’s soundtrack cracking the list.

“2025 was the year music fandom became a global co-creation engine on YouTube,” shared Gabriel Obadia, Head of Music at YouTube Canada.
