Star India pacer Mohit Sharma has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, bringing the curtains down on a 14-year-long career, which began with a Ranji Trophy game against Gujarat in December 2011, in which he picked up two wickets.

Mohit finishes with 44 first-class appearances, where he picked 127 wickets at an impressive economy of 2.75.

Mohit, who played 26 ODIs and eight T20Is, shared an emotional message on Instagram, expressing gratitude to fans, teammates and officials who supported his journey from Haryana to the international stage.
