A drunk raccoon wrecked a Virginia liquor store during a booze-filled rampage and subsequently passed out after the chaos.

On November 29, an employee at an Ashland, Virginia liquor store reportedly found the masked suspect still at the scene of the crime, inebriated after a wild night. The critter destroyed the store and allegedly hit a shelf where bottles of scotch and whisky were stored.

"He fell through one of the ceiling tiles and went on a full-blown rampage, drinking everything," a local animal control officer said. Eventually, the raccoon was safely collected and released back into the environment with a stern warning that "breaking and entering is not the answer."
