Did you enjoy that stretch of sunny, blue skies, Seattle? Did you fill your lungs with a deep breath of that cold, dry, fall air?
Let’s hope so, because the reign of rain is back. We’ll be walking in a watery wonderland through the weekend.
Wednesday will stay rainless in Seattle until a sprinkling settles in late during the night, said National Weather Service meteorologist Maddie Kristell. Thursday is when the wet really starts.
A quarter inch of rain could shower the lowlands Thursday, typical of this time of year, Kristell said, then every day after that through the weekend as additional weather systems approach back to back. More is likely coming the beginning of next week.
Overcast skies accompanying the rain could ruin Seattle’s chance to see the last supermoon of the year, Kris
