One major budget retailer has snatched back the title of the 'UK's cheapest supermarket' this month, as part of Which?'s monthly supermarket price comparison. It comes after the supermarket missed out on the top spot in October, despite having taken the crown in previous months.

Each month Which? compares the average cost of a weekly shop at eight of the UK's major supermarkets and grocery retailers- Aldi , Asda , Lidl , Morrisons , Ocado, Sainsbury’s , Tesco and Waitrose . The watchdog then ranks the average cost of a range of items at each of the supermarkets, giving customers an indication of which retailer is the cheapest to shop with each month.
