Martin Lewis is urging bank customers to switch to Santander and claim its free £235 signing bonus.

This switching deal offers £200 cash for those that sign up to one of their accounts, prompting the MoneySavingExpert.com founder to direct UK households to it.

On the latest episode of The Martin Lewis Money Show Live on ITV , the finance guru explained how the Santander Edge account charges £3 monthly, but offers £10 per month cashback on household bills.

The switching offer is open to customers of all other banks, including Halifax, Lloyds, HSBC, Barclays and NatWest, as well as Nationwide.
