OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Westside High School celebrated Bryson Williams on Wednesday morning. The senior safety signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Iowa State.
“Iowa State was the first Power 4 school that believed in me and wanted to give me a chance,” he said. “They’re going to take a chance on me, I’m going to take a chance on them, and be part of something great that coach Campbell is building.”
Williams, a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports, is one of six players from the state of Nebraska expected to sign with the Cyclones.
“I think out here in Nebraska we have a lot of good talent, and it’s overlooked talent,” Williams said. “All of us going to Iowa State, we’re a lot of low maintenance guys with a lot of potential to make Iowa State great.”
