A jury trial for a man accused of killing his father in March began Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Wyatt Stimac, 24, has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Shane Stimac at their home in St. Clair Township.
During opening statements Tuesday, St. Clair County Senior Assistant Prosecutor Ashley Stone said her case would primarily focus on two witnesses: Avery Stimac, Wyatt Stimac's sister and Shane Stimac's daughter who was at home at the time of the shooting, and Miranda Stimac, Wyatt Stimac's mother and Shane Stimac's wife who was shopping at the time of the incident.
