Quentin Tarantino has declared war on Paul Dano.

The award-winning director, 62, appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast” and named his top ten movies of the 21st century, with Paul Thomas Anderson’s “There Will Be Blood” — starring Dano, 41, and Daniel Day-Lewis — ranking fifth.

But Tarantino stressed that the 2007 period drama would be higher on his list if it wasn’t for Dano.

“‘There Will Be Blood’ would stand a better chance to be in number 1 or number 2 if it didn’t have a big giant flaw in it, and the flaw is Paul Dano,” the filmmaker stated.

Tarantino also argued that Dano’s performance is nowhere near as good as Day-Lewis’, who won an Oscar for the role.
