Lane Kiffin’s job decision saga came to a dramatic end on Sunday when the head coach decided to accept a new role at LSU , which in turn meant he would not finish out the postseason with Ole Miss.
In his parting statement, Kiffin claimed that his players wanted him to stay during their championship run, but Rebels athletic director Keith Carter denied his request to do so.
And some Ole Miss players are calling Kiffin a liar.
“‘Despite the team asking me to keep coaching’. I think everyone that was in that room would disagree,” offensive lineman Brycen Sanders wrote in response to Kiffin’s statement.
