Lucas County Children Services’ Shred for a Toy Day offers residents a chance to clear clutter and dispose of unneeded paperwork in time for the holiday season.
The event, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be in the parking lot of the Burger King at 4870 Monroe St.
People who donate new, unwrapped toy for the LCCS Gift of Joy Holiday Gift Drive will be able to have up to five bags or boxes of personal documents shredded for free. The drive serves abused and neglected children involved with LCCS.
