Catchings had quite the pathway to Ann Arbor. Originally committed to play at Liberty, Catchings was offered this summer by position coach Brian Jean-Mary. He took an unofficial visit to Michigan, but left without flipping. The Wolverines kept him warm throughout the recruiting cycle, even when he flipped from Liberty to USF earlier this fall.
