Former Los Angeles Lakers and Clemson Tigers basketball player Elden Campbell has died at 57.
Clemson basketball confirmed the news on Wednesday of Campbell's death. The Los Angeles Times reported that the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
"We mourn the loss of Elden Campbell, our all-time leading scorer, All-American and three-time All-ACC player, who passed away at the age of 57," Clemson basketball shared in a social media post.
The power forward/center turned his banner Clemson career into a lengthy stint in the NBA. He played for the Lakers from 1990 to 1999 and won an NBA title with the Detroit Pistons in 2004.
