Martyn Waghorn has lifted the lid on his ‘tough’ time at Coventry City – a move he admits he didn’t really want to make.
The former Sky Blues striker struggled to win over the fans during his two years at the club and revealed how he “butted heads” with manager Mark Robins and his assistant Adi Viveash, claiming the latter “ran the show” at Ryton.
Speaking on a wide range of subjects on the Under the Cosh podcast, the former City front man was asked about his free transfer move from Derby County in the summer of 2021.
