A judge sentenced a Providence woman to serve three years in prison after she fled a North Main Street crash that killed an 85-year-old on her daily walk with her husband .

Superior Court Judge David Cruise on Dec. 2 sentenced Caitlin Kelly , 29, of Providence, to 10 years in prison, with 3 to serve, for the hit-and-run crash that left Vanda Makovetskiy dead. Kelly is also facing a three-year suspension of her license.
