Newly released AGESA BIOS reportedly brought compatibility problems for the MSI X870E motherboards.
MSI Quietly Releases AGESA BIOS v1.2.8.0 for "Improved" Memory Compatibility; Causes Problems Instead
Some vendors started rolling out AGESA BIOS 1.2.7.0 recently , which reportedly adds support for the upcoming Krackan Point and Strix Point APUs to the AM5 platform . MSI and ASUS were the first ones to roll out this particular version on some of its models, but MSI has just released a newer AGESA BIOS " 1.2.8.0" on some of 800-series motherboards, including both X870E and B850 chipset models.
Currently, the community-maintained AGESA BIOS sheet lists that the AGESA 1.2.8.0 is available for only three models, including MPG X870E Edge Ti WiFi , MPG X870E Carbon WiFi , and MAG
