Donald Trump continues to fundraise off of promised tariff rebate checks that don’t exist. He has warned supporters that the checks are in legal peril pending a Supreme Court ruling and even though, he continues to dangle the cash in exchange for donations

In his recent fundraising email from Never Surrender, Inc. , Trump claims it is “the only tariff rebate email authorized by President Trump,” apologizes if recipients “fell for other scams,” and then asks: “Would you accept a TARIFF rebate check signed by Trump?”

The message is paired with an image of Trump holding cash and demands a response “before end-of-month deadline.”
