KAMSACK — A Christmas in November trade show was held in the OCC Hall in Kamsack Nov. 30, when 45 vendors attended to sell their merchandise.
“We’re filled up,” said Shelley Filipchuk, an organizer of the event presented by the Kamsack Playhouse Theatre. “We would not have been able to fit in one more table.”
Vendors sold crafts, baked goods including cookies, candies and other sweets, breads, wax candles, honey and various Christmas-themed ornaments, in addition to products handled by home-based businesses.
Bowls of home-made borscht were sold with sandwiches, Nikki Larson distributed 50/50 draw tickets and a rainbow auction offered tables full of prizes. Draws were made for door prizes.
