LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two boys were taken into custody Monday after assaulting a DoorDash driver in north Lincoln, police say.
At around 3 p.m., a 50-year-old man was delivering a DoorDash order at an apartment near North 43rd Street and Huntington Avenue.
During the delivery, he was assaulted by “multiple people,” including one who tried attacking him with a pair of scissors, police said.
The group “forcibly” took the food from the man without paying, according to LPD.
Police said the victim had minor injuries to his hands and the side of his head.
A 12-year-old boy was lodged in the Youth Services Center on suspicion of robbery. A 16-year-old boy was referred on suspicion of robbery.
