Vadodara Woman Assaults GEB Staffers, Issues Death Threat December 03, 2025

Vadodara: A team from the Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) was assaulted while attempting to disconnect electricity due to pending bills in the Bawamanpura–Taivada area of Vadodara. The incident occurred when a woman, identified as Nusrat Yusufbhai Bojawala, attacked the staff, hurled abuses, and threatened them with serious harm.

According to Panigate Police, GEB staffers Azmal Mahedi Yusuf and Mohammad Siddiq Yusufbhai Bojawala were disconnecting the power connection of a house near Veema Hospital when Nusrat emerged from her residence and confronted them aggressively.

The complainants stated that Nusrat pushed supervisor Pravinbhai Bhoi, causing him to fall under his vehicle, and attempted to snatch the meter
