MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Members of New Hampshire's congressional delegation said funds for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program are being distributed after the recent government shutdown put that process on hold.
Last week, a bipartisan group of lawmakers wrote to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, calling for home heating funds to be sent out by Nov. 30 .

States typically get LIHEAP allocations in early November.
More than 57,000 Granite Staters rely on LIHEAP to pay their heating bills.
On Nov. 20, before funds were released, officials with the state Department of Energy said the fuel assistance program was operating normally and they were able to manage funding.
