The star of a Netflix show has tragically died following a diagnosis of colon cancer.

Criscilla Crossland Anderson had appeared on Country Ever After alongside her ex-husband, country musician Coffey Anderson.

The 45-year-old mum announced her own death with a message on social media.

She said: "If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love. Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home.
