Rail passengers are breathing a sigh of relief after a planned strike was called off.
CrossCountry have reinstated a normal timetable on Saturday (December 6) following the suspension of planned industrial action by the RMT union.
A normal CrossCountry service is now expected to operate on Saturday 6, 13, 20 and 27 December – though planned engineering work will mean changes to some journeys.

Customers are advised to check the CrossCountry website before travelling.
A normal service will now operate this Saturday 6 December which is expected to be a busy day for many town and city centres across the network.
