Matthias Schoenaerts has been sentenced to prison, according to a new report.

The 47-year-old actor, who is set to appear in Supergirl in 2026, is going to jail amid multiple driving offences, and was sentenced after failing to appear in court in Belgium.

The ruling is linked to two incidents from last year, during which he reportedly drove a motorbike without a valid license, despite being banned because of a previous 2021 driving offence.

The news was first reported by Belgian news company Belga , via Deadline .

He was reportedly convicted of driving offences 11 times overall, and he was stopped again by police in Pelt, Belgium, as recently as November, reportedly driving without a license and refusing a breath test.
