Liverpool do no intend to recall Harvey Elliott from his loan with Aston Villa.
That’s according to The Athletic , who say the Reds have ‘no plans’ to call time on a loan move that has not worked for the England Under-21 star.
Fulham youth product Elliott was a deadline day signing for Villa, who had previously been linked with West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta, arriving on a deal with an obligation to buy.
The agreement means Villa will have to pay Liverpool somewhere in the region of £30-35million if the 22-year-old makes ten appearances.
