The Mesa City Council is set to vote on a contract for manhole, video and repair services for the water resources department at a future meeting.

The meeting begins at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 8 at 20 E. Main St.

The council will vote on whether to award the contract to highest-scoring responses from B&F Contracting, Duke’s Root Control Inc., Insituform Technologies LLC, Pro Pipe Inc. and Safe Site Utility Services of Arizona LLC at $2 million annually.

Council documents say that this contract would provide important services for sewer system maintenance, inspection and more.

These services include cleaning and inspecting gravity sewer mains, manholes and siphons; documenting findings; performing cured-in-place point repairs; and responding to emergency situations. These services are critical to
