John Van Heck and David Argenti were acclaimed as chair and vice-chai for 2026 at the initial board meeting Tuesday night at the Catholic Education Centre in Wallaceburg.

Van Heck, first elected as a Catholic school board trustee in 2006, has held the position of chair since 2016. This is the fourth term as vice-chair for Argenti, who was first elected as a trustee in 2018.

In accepting their nominations, Van Heck and Argenti expressed appreciation to their trustee colleagues for their support.
