A 39-year-old man was shot and killed while putting air into his truck tires in Jackson in 2022. Jackson police are asking the public for help with answers in the shooting.

The victim was identified as Robert Harold Nelson Jr.

Nelson stopped at a gas station on the corner of State Street and Culley Drive on July 15, 2022. He was shot around 11:37 p.m.
