CINCINNATI —
A 29-year-old man has been indicted for failing to stop after a crash and driving with a suspended license in connection with a crash that killed 15-year-old Dylan Straughn, a Moeller High School student, in October.

In court, Spence's attorney, Clyde Bennett, stated that the incident on Colerain Road was an accident.
Bennett said his client did not know he had hit Straughn that night on a dark stretch of road. Prosecutors, citing investigators, said Spence thought he had hit a deer around 9:30 p.m. and contacted police after seeing news coverage of the incident.
Straughn, who was a sophomore at Moeller, died from his injuries.
