The Texas Tech football staff achieved enough by 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, to last all day — and maybe for the next five years.
On national signing day, Red Raiders coach Joey McGuire , general manager James Blanchard and their crew signed all 20 high-school recruits from whom they had commitments and did it, actually, by 8:30 a.m.
The class includes two players — offensive tackle Felix Ojo and edge defender LaDamion Guyton — who are ranked among the top 15 recruits in the nation on the 247Sports composite index. Frenship wide receiver Chase Campbell is rated a national top-100 prospect, and Prosper offensive tackle Bryce Gilmore a national top-200.
