Two youths – one accused of carrying a replica firearm – have been arrested following a disturbance in downtown Brantford.

Brantford Police responded at about 9:10 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2 to multiple reports of several youths antagonizing an adult male near Dalhousie and Queen streets. Officers were told ice and snowballs were thrown at the victim prior to one youth pointing a firearm at him. No physical injuries were reported by the victim.

The suspects then entered the lobby of a Water Street building where they reportedly caused a disturbance.

Police located the suspects at a plaza on Market Street South, seized a replica firearm, and took them into custody.
