Jalen Hurts isn’t afraid to admit his shortcomings.

The Eagles’ star quarterback, who has been the centerpiece of a controversial locker room situation involving receiver A.J. Brown and other members of the Philadelphia staff, took responsibility for a poor third-and-eight throw to DeVonta Smith early in the second quarter of a 24-15 Black Friday loss to the Bears.

“That’s my fault. I thought you were going to settle down,” Hurts said to Smith as they discussed on the sidelines what happened on the play in a scene featured Tuesday night on “Hard Knocks.”

“Ah f–k. That’s a play I gotta make. You keep doing what you’re doing.”
