The 93rd Annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting takes place Wednesday night in New York City. Here’s what you need to know about what time it begins, who’s performing and how to watch the holiday tradition in person or on TV.
The tree lighting will take place during a star-studded broadcast on NBC and Peacock beginning at 8 p.m., with the lights turning on just before 10 p.m. However, live coverage will begin on NBC 4 New York at 7 p.m., while streaming coverage on Peacock starts at 6:30 p.m. A Spanish-language broadcast on Telemundo begins at 9 p.m.
