A Pontiac resident has been charged in the fatal shooting of another man whose body was found in Oakland County last weekend, officials said.
The Oakland County Prosecutor's Office charged Terrell Quayshawn Edwards with first-degree murder, two counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The 26-year-old has yet to be arraigned on the charges, according to court records. They did not list an attorney representing him Wednesday.
If convicted, he faces up to life in prison without parole for the murder charge. The felony firearm charges each carry a two-year prison sentence, and the felon in possession of a firearm charge is punishable by up to five years in prison.
