CLEVELAND, Ohio — Almost a year after he underwent surgery to repair his re-ruptured Achilles, Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will be back on the practice field today.
On the reserve/physically unable to perform list, Watson had his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday by the Browns. They must either activate him to the 53-man roster during this three-week period, or he remains on PUP for the rest of the season.
He’ll participate Wednesday on a limited basis, working in individual drills as the 3-8 Browns prepare to host the 1-11 Titans on Sunday.
But getting on the field this season is another story.
The Browns are auditioning Shedeur Sanders for the starting job, and there’s a good chance he’ll start the final five games of the season. The Browns also have rookie Dillon Gabri
