"Eternity" might not be an Oscar contender, but this rom-com starring Elizabeth Olsen as a woman deciding which dead husband to spend the afterlife with is one of my favorite movies of 2025. In fact, it's probably the best romantic comedy I've seen in years, thanks to clever writing and excellent chemistry.
I'm not alone in praising this movie either. On Rotten Tomatoes, critics rate it a passable 77%, but audiences love "Eternity," rating it 91% fresh on the Popcornmeter. But if you're reading this, there's a good chance you haven't seen it yet; "Eternity" has made just over $5.4 million at the box office so far. And, let's be honest, if you didn't see it opening week, there's a good chance you're just waiting to stream "Eternity" at home.
