HOUSTON – Texans rookie running back Woody Marks didn’t practice Wednesday after toughing it out to play through a foot injury in a win Sunday over the Indianapolis Colts.
Marks was walking without a limp Monday in the Texans’ locker room. It’s likely the Texans will attempt to manage the injury throughout the week and try to get him ready for a Sunday road game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Marks rushed for a team-high 64 yards on 19 carries Sunday in a 20-16 win.
“You see the toughness that Woody exhibits,” Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said. “He’s used to carrying the load. But he did an outstanding job of just pushing through.
