PLACE Society president Ryan Olthof said the Society took out an agriculture loan through ATB for $320,000 in May 2016 so they could complete a concrete base, insulation and pipe a header trench for the outdoor rink in Falun. Article content

“A local farmer graciously offered a quarter of land up as security,” said Olthof. “We were very pleased to pay this off in September, 26 years early, especially as interest rates have risen considerably in the last year which affected our payment.”
