MILAN, Tenn. (WMC) - The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Milan woman after two of her children overdosed on THC gummies.
The sheriff’s office says on November 28, their deputies responded to the 300 block of Trenton Milan Highway for a possible overdose where two children were found unresponsive.
Deputies spoke with a woman, Candice Hickson, who told them her two children, ages 4 and 2, ate some of her THC gummies that she had stored in the bathroom.
The children were taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital for treatment.
Hickson was arrested and charged with child abuse and endangerment and held on a $25,000 bond.
